We Like Bali - Top 5 Places
Posted on 17 December 2016
As you may already know, we at MISCHA headquarters love Bali, like a lot! So we asked the lovely ladies, Pris and Eve of We Like Bali, who recently released their own 'The Islandlife Guide' to dish out their top 5 favourite places.
If you're heading to Bali and need tips on where to go (like who doesn't), then you should get your hands on their guide, it's got 250 of their all-time favourite places. We know you want it! We already have one.
Follow them @welikebali for some serious wanderlust inspo.
1. Food: Peloton Supershop
Bali is heaven for foodies! If you could eat all day like us, then this one is not to miss. We eat here weekly, whether it’s a quick healthy brekkie or lunch date with friends; Peloton Supershop, located on Brawa in Canggu, is a bicycle shop slash vegan cafe with an amazingly tasty plant powered menu. Do also not miss the coconut cappuccino and definitely do not skip dessert.
2. Coffee & Shop: Kim Soo Home
All white, boho, island vibes! Our new favourite coffee and breakfast to-go spot is Kim Soo. At this incredible eye-stunning homeware and beach accessories store you’ll want to get simply everything. A shop where you just wanna stay and live forever. Recently they opened up a small cafe in the store and outside, with delicious coffee and yummy food. Simply bliss!
3. Shop & Pamper: Gooseberry Intimates Flagship Store
Girls, if you’re planning a trip to Bali, definitely make sure to visit the Gooseberry Flagship Store! Here they sell our favourite lingerie and swimwear brand Gooseberry Intimates and Gooseberry Swim. And every two weeks we want to get pampered with the girls for a mani-pedi session in the nail salon on the first floor.
4. Beach & Surf: Bingin Beach
Our favourite beaches and surf spots are located in the South of Bali called The Bukit. We love Bingin Beach for its amazing waves, white sand and yummy beach cafes like Swamis and Kelly’s Warung. It’s the perfect location to stay for a weekend or a few days to escape the city hassle of Seminyak and Canggu. We love Sal Secret Spot, Sun & Surf Stay and Mu’u Villas for the incredible ocean view. Other beaches like Uluwatu, Padang Padang and Balangan are just a quick ride away, perfect!
5. Explore more: Nihiwatu, Sumba
If you have time during your Bali holiday to explore more islands close to Bali and a budget to do something beyond special, definitely put Nihiwatu on the Indonesian island Sumba on your travel itinerary. This magical resort is located on the South of Sumba on the most paradise , coconut trees covered land with wide stretches of sand and one of the best waves in the world (also for beginners!) right in front. It’s less than an hour flight away from Bali with Garuda Airlines and will blow you away with its untouched beauty.
