If you're anything like us (total foodies), then you plan your trips based on restaurants. Here are a few of our current favourite places to eat in Bali.
BREAKFAST/BRUNCH
One of our all time favourites. This place is buzzing with digital nomads first thing in the morning. Who could blame them, the coffee is excellent.
Must order: Smashed Avocado on toasted rye with a side of crispy bacon #whythehellnot

This Australian-style cafe serves breakfast classics with an impressive bakery. We also dig the hexagons in the interior.
Must order: The Ottoman

LUNCH
Perched on the edge of a rice paddy field, this cafe is buzzing with the cool Canggu crowd. Try to get a table outside. Must order: Smoothie bowl that looks too good to eat

Nook Bali's sister restaurant, this adorable place is right next to the infamous Kerobokan prison.
Must order: Nasi Campur

Hailing from Sydney, this is more of an afternoon lounging, gliding effortlessly into sundowners, kind of place. Must order: Kale salad

SUNDOWNERS
An oldie but a goodie. Magic hour and really good food.

Area: Seminyak
The Lawn
Head there just before sunset for drinks on the lawn before dinner at the restaurant.
